Desert Victory
Before D-Day or even the invasion of Italy, the majority of the non-Russian combat took place in North Africa. The allies experienced many setbacks in their conflict agains Rommel and his Afrika Korps but they were eventually able to turn things around.
Propaganda was understood to be valuable even back then. The British produced a film in 1943 describing their victory. Copies of this film were sent to Roosevelt and Stalin. The fact that this is propaganda does not take away from the bravery of those who fought in this important battle.
