ABOUT ME

My name is Stephen Bedard and I have been interested in military history for as longs as I can remember. It started with reading Sgt Rock comics and developed into more serious study.
I eventually had the opportunity to join the Canadian Armed Forces reserves as a chaplain for a number of years. My respect for the military only grew through this experience.
While terrible things happened during World War Two, it was also a time in which we saw the best of people. There is much we can learn from the experiences of that generation, both civilian and military.
