World War II Submarine Warfare

When I think about the areas that I would have wanted to serve during the Second World War, I think serving on a submarine would have been near the bottom of the list (no pun intended).

Yet, submarines played a significant role for all sides during the war. This documentary provides some very interesting information about submarines during WWII, including their introduction during WWI.
